Pedro A. Fuertes-Olivera

Pedro A. Fuertes-Olivera is Associate Professor at the University of Valladolid, where he teaches specialised discourse. He has also taught at the University of Aarhus. His research interest lies in specialised lexicography, translation, and language teaching. He has published around 100 academic papers, and books and dictionaries such as Pedagogical Specialised Lexicography (John Benjamins), Specialised Dictionaries for Learners (De Gruyter), and e-Lexicography (Continuum). He “is Velux Vising Professor 2011-2012” and is teaching and making research in Germany, Denmark, and South Africa as a fellow of the Velux Fonde.

He is member of the Advisory Board of several national and international journals, has been Review Editor of Ibérica, and acts as referee of Applied Linguistics, International Journal of Lexicography, English for Specific Purposes, Journal of Pragmatics, Hermes, and African Journal of History and Culture.
